UTC Spain
Terms and Conditions
UTC Spain – Booking Terms & Conditions Last updated: 22/09/2026 These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings made with Ultimate Training Camp SL, trading as UTC Spain, for accommodation and use of the training facilities at our villa in Aspe, Spain. By making a booking with UTC Spain, the booking holder confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and that they are responsible for ensuring that all members of their group are aware of and comply with them.
1. Booking Requirements Bookings are available for groups of a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 12 people. The person making the booking will be treated as the booking holder and group organiser and will be responsible for communicating relevant information to the rest of their group and ensuring that all guests comply with these Terms & Conditions. Any request for a group outside the standard 6–12 person limit must be agreed with UTC Spain in advance.
2. Booking Deposit A 10% deposit of the total booking price is required to secure your booking. The deposit is non-refundable. Your booking is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received. Payment of the deposit reserves the agreed dates for your group.
3. Final Balance The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date. If the balance has not been received by this deadline, UTC Spain reserves the right to cancel the booking and release the dates. Once the final balance has been paid, the booking is considered fully paid.
4. Cancellation by the Customer All cancellations must be made in writing by email. The initial 10% booking deposit is non-refundable. If a booking is cancelled more than 30 days before arrival, the customer will not be required to pay any remaining balance that has not yet become due. If a booking is cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date, all amounts already paid to UTC Spain are non-refundable. Customers are strongly advised to take out suitable travel and cancellation insurance to cover circumstances that may prevent them from travelling.
5. Changes to Booking Dates Requests to change the dates of a booking must be made in writing. Any change of dates is subject to availability and must be agreed by UTC Spain. A change of dates is not guaranteed. Where a change of dates is agreed, the booking may be subject to the prices and availability applicable to the new dates.
6. Security Deposit A £250 security deposit is required in connection with each booking. The security deposit is intended to cover damage, loss or additional costs caused by the group during their stay. This may include, but is not limited to: Damage to the villa or property Damage to furniture Damage to kitchen equipment or crockery Broken plates, glasses or other household items Damage to gym or training equipment Damage to doors, walls, fixtures or fittings Damage to towels or bedding Permanent staining or damage to towels or bedding Blood or other difficult-to-remove stains on bedding or other furnishings Damage caused by misuse of property or equipment Lost or missing items belonging to UTC Spain Excessive or unreasonable cleaning required because of the condition in which the property is left The security deposit is not a charge for normal cleaning. UTC Spain will carry out the normal cleaning of the villa, including the usual washing of towels and bedding and general cleaning following a stay, at no additional cost to the guest. Excessive Cleaning Guests are expected to leave the villa in a reasonable condition. If the villa is left unnecessarily messy, UTC Spain may deduct an additional cleaning charge from the security deposit. Examples may include: Large amounts of rubbish left throughout the property Food or rubbish left around the villa A kitchen left with an excessive amount of washing-up Significant mess requiring substantially more cleaning than would normally be expected after a stay The maximum amount that may be deducted from the security deposit for additional/excessive cleaning is £120. The amount deducted will depend on the condition of the property. Where only a small amount of additional cleaning is required, UTC Spain will only deduct an appropriate amount rather than automatically charging the full £120. Normal cleaning, washing towels and bedding, and the ordinary preparation of the villa between guests are not charged against the security deposit. Any deductions will be communicated to the booking holder.
7. Responsibility for the Group The person making the booking is responsible for their group throughout their stay. This includes responsibility for ensuring that members of the group: Follow these Terms & Conditions Treat the villa, equipment and surrounding property with care Follow safety instructions Use training equipment correctly Follow instructions given by UTC Spain staff Do not deliberately or negligently damage property Do not engage in illegal activities Respect the property and surrounding area Where damage or additional costs are caused by a member of the group, UTC Spain may seek to recover the relevant cost from the booking holder and/or security deposit, subject to applicable law.
8. Villa and Property Guests must treat the villa and all furniture, equipment and facilities with reasonable care. Guests must not remove property belonging to UTC Spain from the villa unless expressly authorised. Any damage, breakage or problem with the property should be reported to UTC Spain as soon as reasonably possible. Guests must not deliberately damage, misuse or interfere with equipment, fixtures, fittings or facilities.
9. Towels and Bedding Towels and bedding are provided for normal use. Guests must take reasonable care of them. The security deposit may be used to cover the cost of repairing or replacing towels, bedding or other items where they have been damaged, permanently stained, lost or otherwise rendered unusable through inappropriate use. For example, blood stains or other stains that cannot reasonably be removed through normal laundering may result in a deduction from the security deposit. Guests should not leave towels in direct sunlight for prolonged periods where this may cause damage or discolouration.
10. Swimming Pool The swimming pool is provided for guest use but is not supervised by a lifeguard. Guests use the swimming pool entirely at their own risk and are responsible for behaving safely and appropriately around the pool. Children and anyone who cannot swim confidently must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Guests must not engage in dangerous behaviour around or in the pool. UTC Spain is not responsible for accidents or injuries arising from a guest's misuse of the pool or failure to take reasonable care, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Pool Chemicals Pool chemicals are used to maintain the pool safely and hygienically. Pool chemicals, including products such as chlorine blocks and flocculant pouches, will be handled and added to the pool by authorised UTC Spain staff. Guests must not touch, move, open, handle or interfere with pool chemicals. Guests will be informed when chemicals have been added where appropriate and must follow any instructions provided by UTC Spain staff. Pool chemicals must never be handled by guests. UTC Spain is not responsible for injury or damage resulting from a guest deliberately or improperly handling, moving, opening or interfering with pool chemicals, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Training Equipment and Gym Facilities The training facilities and equipment at UTC Spain are provided for use by guests during their stay. Guests use the training facilities and participate in training activities at their own risk. Physical training, combat sports, strength training and the use of gym equipment carry inherent risks, including the risk of injury. Guests must use all equipment correctly and responsibly and follow any instructions provided by UTC Spain staff. UTC Spain accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained as a result of training, participation in physical activities, incorrect use of equipment, misuse of facilities, failure to follow instructions, reckless behaviour, or continuing to train when injured, unwell or experiencing pain, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Guests are responsible for assessing whether they are physically fit and able to participate in training activities. UTC Spain strongly recommends that all guests obtain appropriate health, medical and/or travel insurance before participating in training activities at the camp. Guests should seek appropriate medical advice before participating in strenuous physical activity if they have any concerns about their health or fitness. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
13. Outdoor Training and Weather Some of the training facilities and equipment are located outdoors. Weather conditions, including high temperatures, rain, strong winds and other adverse weather, may affect the use of outdoor facilities. Weather conditions are outside the control of UTC Spain and do not normally constitute grounds for cancellation, refund or compensation. Guests may use outdoor equipment where appropriate, but must make sensible decisions based on the weather conditions and their own safety. UTC Spain may restrict or temporarily stop the use of particular facilities where staff reasonably consider that weather or other conditions make their use unsafe.
14. Noise and Consideration for Others UTC Spain is located in a rural area. Normal social activity and reasonable noise are permitted, and guests are welcome to enjoy the villa during their stay. However, guests must not create excessive, unreasonable, threatening, dangerous or illegal noise or disturbance. Guests are expected to show reasonable consideration to surrounding properties and other people in the area. UTC Spain reserves the right to intervene where noise or behaviour becomes unreasonable or causes complaints.
15. Parties and Gatherings Guests are permitted to socialise and enjoy the villa during their stay. However, the villa is intended for the booked group and guests must not organise large external parties or invite substantial numbers of people to the property without prior permission from UTC Spain. Any gathering must remain within the agreed occupancy of the property unless UTC Spain has expressly agreed otherwise.
16. Occupancy and Access to the Property Only guests included on the booking are permitted to enter or stay at the property. No person who is not a registered guest of the booking may enter the property without prior written approval from UTC Spain staff. Guests must not invite friends, family members, coaches, visitors or any other third party onto the property without obtaining approval from UTC Spain in writing beforehand. This includes use of the villa, swimming pool, gym, training facilities, outdoor areas and any other facilities located on the property. UTC Spain reserves the right to ask any unauthorised person to leave the property immediately. If any unauthorised person is found to have entered or be present at the property without prior written approval from UTC Spain, UTC Spain reserves the right to terminate the booking and require all members of the group to leave the property. In such circumstances, no refund will be provided for any remaining portion of the booking, subject to applicable law. The maximum standard occupancy is 12 guests. Allowing unauthorised persons onto the property may be treated as a serious breach of these Terms & Conditions.
17. Illegal Activities Illegal activities are strictly prohibited at the property. UTC Spain reserves the right to terminate a stay immediately where guests engage in serious illegal, dangerous or threatening behaviour. Where appropriate, incidents may be reported to the relevant authorities. No refund will normally be provided where a booking is terminated because of serious misconduct by guests, subject to applicable law.
18. Flights, Hire Cars and Travel Arrangements UTC Spain provides accommodation and the services specifically included in the customer's booking. Flights, airport transfers, hire cars and other travel arrangements are not provided or arranged by UTC Spain unless expressly stated otherwise in writing. Guests are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from Spain and to the villa in Aspe. UTC Spain is not responsible for flight cancellations, delays, missed flights, airline problems, hire car problems, road delays or other issues relating to travel arrangements made by the customer. Guests are advised to arrange suitable travel insurance.
19. Travel Disruptions Where a guest is unable to attend because of circumstances affecting their own travel arrangements, including flight cancellations, delays, missed connections or hire-car issues, the normal cancellation terms will continue to apply. UTC Spain recommends that guests obtain appropriate travel insurance to protect against these circumstances.
20. Cancellation by UTC Spain UTC Spain reserves the right to cancel a booking where circumstances outside our reasonable control make it impossible or unsafe to provide the accommodation or services. Where UTC Spain cancels a booking, we will contact the booking holder and, where appropriate, offer either: A suitable alternative arrangement; or A refund of amounts paid for the affected booking. Any rights the customer has under applicable consumer law will remain unaffected.
21. Circumstances Outside Our Control UTC Spain will not be responsible for circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: Extreme weather Natural disasters Government restrictions Major utility failures Fire or other serious property damage Transport disruption Airline cancellations Road closures Public emergencies Other events that could not reasonably have been prevented or anticipated Where such circumstances affect the provision of the booking, UTC Spain will communicate with the booking holder and take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.
22. Check-In and Check-Out Guests must comply with the check-in and check-out times provided by UTC Spain. Guests are expected to leave the villa in a reasonably tidy condition and return keys and other property as instructed. Failure to leave the property by the agreed check-out time may result in additional charges where this causes additional costs or prevents UTC Spain from preparing the property for the next guests.
23. Health and Fitness Guests are responsible for assessing their own ability to participate in physical training and activities. Guests should inform the relevant UTC Spain staff of any medical condition, injury or other circumstance that may affect their ability to train safely. Guests should obtain medical advice before participating in strenuous physical activity if they have any concerns about their health or fitness.
24. Liability Guests participate in physical training, use of gym equipment, swimming pool facilities and other activities at UTC Spain at their own responsibility. UTC Spain will take reasonable steps to maintain its facilities and provide appropriate safety information. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, UTC Spain will not be responsible for loss, damage or injury resulting from a guest's failure to follow safety instructions, misuse of facilities or equipment, reckless behaviour, or failure to take reasonable care.
25. Complaints and Problems During Your Stay If you experience a problem with the villa, equipment or services during your stay, please notify UTC Spain as soon as possible. Where reasonably possible, we will be given the opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue during your stay.
